We are going to turn your art practice up-side-down in this week-long course!

 

Watercolour can do it all - From beautiful glazes, landscapes, portraits, and still-lifes to fantastic illustrations, botanicals, animals and everyday objects. 

 

Watercolour can also be mixed with other mediums such as, graphite, pastels, ink or salt. And that is what we are going to delve into on this trip! 

 

As with all our retreats, every level of experience is catered for.

This trip was developed as an inspiration booster- and is placed deliberately in winter, just when you need the extra creativity the most! 

 

You will be taught under the guidance of experienced artist Trine Pettigrew who is a wealth of knowledge and skill. You will learn new techniques, which you can bring home and deepen your own art practice with.

Trine is a master at helping you find your own ‘stroke’ and style. 

 

Under Trine's expert care, daily classes take place, as well as time for questions and guidance. You will never be judged or compared to any fellow student, everyone is here to have fun and paint!

Whitewashed rooms, decorated in eclectic furnishings and colourful art will be your sanctuary during your stay.

 

Culinary expert Anna Cairns Pettigrew handcrafts all the vegetarian meals, which are heartwarming and nutritious. We strive that both your mind and spirit are attended to.  

 

Groups are kept small so our guests can personally advance within the week.

 

There is no single supplement for solo travellers.
