Medium: Watercolour and ink 

 

This week-long course will be all about water, pigments and ink. 

 

Pack your favourite sketchbook, watercolour travel palette/paper, a black pen, and we're off!

 

We will get inspired by the many interesting narrow streets and old houses, harbour front and the many nesting storks, in the town of Portimão. 

 

Every day there will be a morning lesson in different watercolour techniques, contour drawing, viewfinder use and much more. 

 

After our morning lesson, you are free to paint. Trine will be supervising throughout the day, and ensure that everybody gets personal attention with advice and tips. 

 

At the end of the week, we will have a private viewing and a show and tell. 

 

NOTE: If you prefer to paint in acrylic, you are most welcome to do so, instead of watercolour. 

 

 

Price: 

 

• £1100 - per. person for a single occupancy

 

• £850 - per person sharing a twin

 

• £425 - Non painting partner (sharing their room with painter)

• £150 3 Day course, 6, 7 & 8th of November. ( not including accommodation, but includes lunch)

​

• £425 3 Day Course with accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

​

 

 

Inclusive in the week-long price: 

 

Single occupancy in a double room or shared occupancy in twin bedroom with en-suite Bathroom depending on what you book.

 

Tuition x 6 days.

Wine served with dinner. (Wine is also for sale at the house, or in the shops locally) 

 

Tea and coffee, water throughout the day.

Please note, two dinners ( one is on arrival day) and two lunches are had in town/on our trips and are at the guests own expense.

Air travel.

Travel to/from Faro airport to Portimao.

Art materials.

Travel expenses on day trip to Silves. (Optional) 

Travel expenses on beach trip. ( optional)

8.00-9.00 - Breakfast served in garden   

10.00-11.00 - Class in garden   

12.00-13.00 - Lunch in the house   

15.00-16.00- Outdoor Sketching/ on the street or town square 

16.00 Tea/Coffee & Break  

18.30/19.00 Dinner
